Model Train Video: Model Train Disaster

A nicely put together video with ample use of imagination. Certainly worthy of more showings than some of the Thomas the Tank Engine television series as in some ways far more convincing.

Nice video! Either the railway dispatcher or the commuter train engineer are going to be on the unemployment line tomorrow morning, or maybe both of them will. The commuter train should have had a red signal, telling it to stop until the steam train was in the clear. Good response time by the firemen! They were even environmently doing the right thing, towing each other along, saving fuel and taxpayer’s dollars, too.

I don’t think I could have done any better with the special effects so can’t complain. The Fire Dept’s response time was realistic and they stole the stage making the vid more about them then the actual train accident. I thought the vid whimsical and entertaining. it made me smile. “good job” to the producer.

Very good Dave! Nice video. I’d say you should have ruptured the boiler on the steamer and had some steam rising too. Very inventive and ingenius.
Someone on that railroad just got fired. Dispatcher? Engineer? Section hand? That was a costly mistake. Again, I enjoyed it and good job.

Very clever. I like the tip about saving on fuel. Now we know what the meaning of a towable vehicle means.
