Builder Kim’s Scratchbuilt Homes

Once again, the talented Builder Kim has shared some of his latest scratchbuilds. This time he has been making houses to populate his layout.

“Hi Dan.

I made these homes along time ago. Just been updating them with balconies or porches. I’ve been experimenting with making posts for holding up the roofs. I could always make them longer and drill it out to add a light. If you like I can show an easy way of making posts like these? That house was made from a bed side drawer that I scrapped. I let mother nature delaminate or force the compressed wood they make them with to separate and then I go collect the small thin slats of wood to make things with.

Thanks
Builder Kim”
