Great Looking Model Railroad Scenery By A Beginner

Beginners to model railroading always tend to be a little intimidated by creating the scenery for their model railway.

We are constantly asked for book recommendations and tips to creating realistic looking scenery for model trains. But, the best information won’t help you create realistic looking scenery first up.

The answer we give everyone is just to try create something. There is no model railroader that was completely satisfied with their first attempt. Creating great looking scenery will only come with practice.

This is Matt’s first model railroad and he has done a superb job. The model railroad is HO scale and he is modeling a Canadian west coast scene.
